Our  Nukus  community is  situated  in Gurlan  district,  in Birlashgan  village.  There are  four  communities in  our 

village, they  are  Nukus, Shangi,  Birlashgan   and  Do`stlik  communities.

         As we  give an attention to our community it is  related to  the  history of Khorezm. From the historical   facts  during the  attack  of Mog`ul   imperiya  Chingizxon came  to  ancient Urgench.  At  that time,  the  whole areas  consisted   of  lakes  and bogs. So that, they  went  through  from  Gurlan,  after that  this  place called  Qurulayin. Gurlan was given from this "Qurulayin”  word.

            At  the end  at  1500s Amudarya  changed  the stream this  river  leaked among our areas and stopped there. The  rate of  population of our community  improved from  that  century. At  that  time those  areas  belonged to  Khiva. After  the tread  of  Russia, there were  lots of improvements in  it. Gurlan was changed  to Gurlan  district. At  the  beginning of  1900s  the population  and   homes were very  poor.  In 1910s  by  the system  of  Posyolka there  were many  communities in  it. Before the  independence of  our  country the  attention  was risen to  our  community it  was  given a  post  that control  itself  to our  community.  The liccuses  were  noted by  the  constitution. After  that  changes the  2003 year  called "Obod  mahalla”.

            As I  speak about our village  there  are 1980 families  and  12,5 thousand  people  live friendly.  In  our Nukus  community  there are  two  schools called  29  and 41.  A  lot of  intelligent pupils  studies in  our  school  called  41.  And the  hospital  service to  a  lot of   people.   The chairman  of  our community  in  Jumaniyozov Gulmirzo.  In  our community  there  are 616 families  and  3894 people  live.

            In  our Birlashgan  village   there is  also  a Shangi  community  and  it  has 397  families  and 2527  people.   This community   has  lots of  pupils  studies in  their  school called   30 . And  the chairman  is   Salayev Komil .

           In  our Birlashgan   village,  there is  also  Birlashgan community  it   has  628 families  and  3670 people  live  friendly. And  the  hospital service  to  many peoples.This  community  has a  sshool  called 31.  The  chairman of  this  community is  Yo`ldashev  Qo`zivoy.

         Our   Birlashgan  village is  very  beautiful.  We  love  it.  I am  proud of  our  village!!!
